Hello everyone, my name is Shanice, and I’m a 60-year-old woman from Chicago. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, and sleep-related breathing problems.
At that time, I also had an "apple" body shape, which was caused by obesity. My weight was seriously affecting my health.
To improve my eating habits and lose weight, I tried several methods, including calorie counting and restriction. However, this approach didn’t work for me at first. I initially did the calorie counting on my own, but after talking with Ron, I realized that I wasn’t starting in the best way.
Ron guided me through a new approach, beginning with a “Body Detox” and a green food multivitamin called “Veggie Fiber” to help reduce my cravings for snacks between meals. He also helped me replace the unhealthy foods I was eating most often. About a month later, he encouraged me to add more vegetables to my diet. Three months later, I started eliminating sugary foods.
After about four months, I began tracking my calories using an iPhone app. By six months, I had lost 25 pounds and weighed 175 pounds. I knew I needed to continue my weight loss journey, so I stayed focused for another year.
After a year, I had successfully reversed my diabetes, high blood pressure, and breathing issues. The first major improvement I noticed was deeper sleep, which happened within three months. My blood pressure was normal for four months, and my diabetes was gone in seven months.
Now, two years later, I weigh 150 pounds and feel much healthier. This journey has been incredibly important to me, and I never felt like I was dieting or missing out on my favorite foods. I’m so grateful to Ron for his support throughout this process, and I hope this can inspire and help others, too.
Thank you,
Shanice
