About a year ago, I had my third baby boy and was determined to get back in shape. I planned to return to the gym, enjoy sunset walks, and play recreational volleyball.

During my last annual check-up, a malignant tumor was discovered under my left breast. After further tests, doctors confirmed it was cancer.

As a fighter and a mother, I decided to face this challenge head-on. I followed the doctor’s instructions, taking all prescribed medications. However, months later, follow-up tests showed the cancer was still spreading. My doctor warned that if the cancer continued to spread after the third review, chemotherapy might be necessary. If that didn’t work, I’d have to consider a full removal of my left breast.

At that point, my mom suggested I try a low-carb, no-sugar diet, as she had read about its success in other cases. I also consulted with a naturopathic vegetarian dietitian, who explained that most diseases stem from inflammation. She recommended I eliminate refined sugar, high-fructose fruits, bread, cakes, donuts, and grains like corn from my diet. The dietitian also advised cutting out all bread, since it turns into sugar in the body, and focusing on increasing vegetables and fruits with a low glycemic index.

To speed up the process, I started taking "Sugar Detox" capsules to help expel sugar from my system, along with "Body Detox" capsules. I also removed meat from my diet and got my protein from plant-based sources like spinach, beans, peas, hemp seeds, and edamame.

I began this new regimen immediately, with my third doctor visit scheduled in five months. When I returned for my appointment, the doctors were amazed to find that the tumor had not only stopped growing, but had shrunk by half.

The vegetarian dietitian explained that by cutting out sugar, cancer cells, which require sugar for energy, are starved of oxygen, which ultimately causes them to die.

Two years later, I am cancer-free, and I still have my left breast. I no longer take any medications and have adopted a keto diet with minimal carbs, especially bread. I make sure to exercise for 1-2 hours daily to avoid storing sugar in my body. My diet is primarily vegetarian, with occasional fish.

I hope my story inspires and helps others.
